Who we are
FitNEXT is operated by FitNEXT Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our editorial office is based in [London]. You can reach our data protection contact at privacy@fitnext.co.uk.
What we collect
- Analytics data — anonymous visit data (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location, device type) via a privacy-respecting analytics tool.
- Comments — if you leave a comment, we store the name, email and message you submit, plus the IP address and user-agent to help with spam filtering.
- Contact form submissions — emails and messages you send us through the contact form.
- Cookies — strictly necessary cookies only by default. See our Cookie Policy.
Why we process your data
We process personal data on one of three legal bases: your consent, the performance of a contract, or our legitimate interests in operating and improving the website.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share limited data with trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, email delivery), all of whom are bound by appropriate data-protection contracts.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary: comments indefinitely (you can request deletion at any time); contact enquiries for twelve months; analytics data for twenty-six months in anonymised form.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email privacy@fitnext.co.uk to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside the UK. When they are, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in line with UK GDPR Article 46.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our data practices change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page.
